Rating Star Trek Movies
Star Trek movies tend to a mixed bag. There are some really good ones and some that are frankly boring.
IDW recently brought out a three-issue adaptation of the Star Trek Movie, The Wrath of Khan. This led me to thinking about my favourite Star Trek movies.
Here are my first three favorites in order
(1) The Voyage Home
(2) The Search for Spock
(3) The Wrath of Khan

I think I would take the TNG TV series over the Kirk movies. Heck, I'd take the Xindi season of Enterprise over the Kirk movies.
I like the TNG TV series the best. The movies tends to be too "short" - more like an extended episode.

I agree with you that the Xindi season is great with Enterprise. This is comparable with the Dominion War of DS9 and Borg of Voyager. Ah, these were great times, isn't it?

It is true that some of the movies are like extended television episodes.
My favourite character? Spock Prime of Vulcan i.e. the original one, not the one in the latest movie.
Enterprise is airing on public TV now from Mon - Fri and it is currently at the tail end of the Xindi saga.
I missed it while in Malaysia so I am enjoying it very much. I love my Video recorder :-)
Never thought Enterprise got the credit it deserved.
