Revisiting Stem Cell Research

Two weeks ago today my wife Ann had her stem cells replanted. The work that they are doing here at Northwestern University with adult stems cells is amazing.

That said, I do think that a cogent theology be developed around stem cells. I just hope that religious leaders do not do a lot of fear mongering around this approach.

The church should be on the forefront when it comes to healing sick people.

PS: Any reason for word captcha? Seems like moderating comments would take care of spam.

Hi Bob,
I am so glad that Ann is recovering. Yes, there has been advances in treatment modalities using stem cells. Churches and their leaders need to be aware of this.

Sorry for the word captcha. Too many digital spammers ;)

I do fine without captcha Alex. Blogger has made some great improvements in this area. Eliminating anonymous commenters helped me the most in fighting spammers. I do not moderate or use captcha and very rarely get spam.
