It's "Out of Focus"! LOL
Amen and Amen.
Which column do you think reflects the Reformation emphasis on the priesthood of believers? :)
It is really "out of focus"! Must be my eyesight - looks like it's time to get reading glasses now...

hi Paul,
note the pun :)
bob,
which column do you think ;)
kar Yong,
who do you think need spectacles? You or the church?
Hi Alex,
I wish more churches would read and consider the column on the right. Yes, we should focus on God's mission rather than 'church'. But, unfortunately, we set up so many 'churchy' things to do - most churches are 'high maintenance' and constantly need people to fill the gaps inside. No time and energy to focus on our Monday - Monday 'mission field', or to see things differently, or appreciate God's ongoing work in our lives.
Think we'll ever find a church heading towards the right column?
hi Lilian.
I agree with you that we should focus on God's mission rather than 'church'
Think we will ever find a church heading in the right column? Yes, indeed. But it must start with you and me.
Lilian: Hi. Yes, I think there are churches heading towards the right column and some are in the right column already(not perfect though. none of us are - yet) sometimes, those in the right column are those in a more 'disadvantaged' position/location than us(with our 'huge' resources and religious freedom). I say this to our shame. But well, let's pray that churches will (continue to) move towards the right with much spiritual understanding and wisdom.
Alex: Hi. Totally agree with you that it starts with the affected individual. Enjoyed your "The slow work of God" & "Peanut's philosophy". Keep up the great posts. Cheers.
