How To Look Death in the Face

Dr Raudy Pausch a Computer Science Professor at Carnegie Mellon University has incurable pancreatic cancer. This is his 'farewell lecture' to 400 of his students at Mc Conomy Auditorium.

What do you say when you know that you are dying? What you say when you are dying reflects on what you believe and act upon when you are living.

i think it takes unbelieveable courage & conviction to take Death by the horns, accept it & then be able to come up with a message that is both solemn & inspirational.

hi doc,

I agree with you completely. I only hope that I have that kind of courage and conviction when my time comes.

I set aside the time yesterday to listen to his farewell lecture. It was moving and very inspiring.

As a bonus, I learned about the Alice program and asked my eldest son to check it out

I am glad I took the time off from my busyness to watch the video.
